EXCLUSIVE details: Street Fighter IV coming to PSP in 2D glory!!!

This is just in from a Capcom insider!!!!

Street Fighter IV will be available in all its glory for the PSP handheld system. According to a Capcom insider, the game should be released this fall and the big surprise is that the game will in 2D sprites.

The sprites will be of course fully handdrawn and will animate very closely to SFIII 3rd strike. In fact, rumor has it that Ryu, ken, Akuma and chun-li will have their 3rd strike sprites, while the alpha characters will have their alpha 3 sprites and only the new characters will be drawn from scratch.

The game will maintin the focus system and ultra attacks but with the addition to a 2nd super for each character. Capcom is still not sure if it will include some extra characters for the handheld version.

The last and by no means least bit of news regarding Street Fighter IV PSP is that today is April 1st.

It was posted on January, but then it wasn't known that how these sprites would be used, so whether there will be a 2D version of SFIV or not was a mystery. Now it is known, and yuou can add this link to the news entry :)

And I believe that proves it isn't an April Fools joke or else.
