What do i think? El fuerte ROCKS, while Rufus SUUUCKS SOO FREAKING MUCH i mean really what were they thinking?????? worst looking character in the history of fighting games, dude they even topped EX characters!
well I actually like El Fuertre, he seems like a pesky character. I don't mind him at all. Rufus on the other hand looks ridiculous! Rufus reminds me of a combination of a fat clown plus Violet Beauregarde from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, plus the Catus dude from Marvel VS Capcom 2......
WHO approved this design.....I can't believe that they would all sit at a table and say....YES I like this rufus guy he makes the cut! Man what were the other designs on the table?
Don't get me wrong I will still play SF4 like a crazy man when it comes out and I will see what Rufus is about, but he does look weird.
Let me put it this way... The Rufus character sucks very much, but the Rufus character animations are wicked cool. The bouncing belly is really well done from an artistic point of view, even though the character sucks balls. He's even worse than Earthquake from SNK's Samurai Shodown!
The 4th Location test in Osaka is over now. 98% percent of the people who were at the location test, pretty much din't like Rufus. Japanese players thought he is gross or discussting. As an artist, I think the animation of Rufus is brilliant, from his boucing belly, however, Rufus design just doesn't fit with the rest of the cast! He hasn't officially introduced by Capcom, therefore, I think he might be a hidden character or something in the final version....I really hoping that Cammy and other brand new female characters will take his slot. We need more females fighters!

Rufus can stay for all I care. I haven't played with him all I can say is that he looks like crap. El Fuertre seems like what you would get if you combined Darun and Skullo Mania from Street Fighter EX into one character lol, with his climb all around you throws and flying jumps and stuff. Anyone agree?

El Fuerte looks pretty awesome. I was curious as to how he would play after looking at the concept art, but I'm really pleased with how agile a character he seems to be. Rufus just looks ridiculous lol.
