Udon Introduces the Street Funnies!

Long, long time ago, in early nineties, when Street Fighter II was the most successful game of all time, an old comic book company, called Malibu, started a Street Fighter Comic series that has an original story. When i say original story, i mean, they looked at the Street Fighter characters and came up with stories not based on anything. The comic was SO BAD, that capcom pulled the plug after only 3 issues.

The art was also horrible, but Udon found a new use for the craptastic pages of the malibu comic. Using the crappy art and only changing the texts gave the defunct comic a new breeze of life. In fact the result is so funny that it is worthy of some primetime on SNL.

from Udon blog: "UDON has found a great new use for some stinky material…  Starting today, UDON will be posting up a new page of Street Funnies every Monday. It’s a wonder what a little new dialogue can do! Give a click on the first two pages below to get your first taste of Street Funnies! "

How do I put this...

The *original* dialogue was actually funnier than this new shot at humor Udon is attempting. They always needed decent writers and this isn't helping any.

Agreed, This crappy high school humor makes me want to read the original comic and bust out my Hasbro Street Fighter G.I. Joes. Leave it in the grave, Udon.
