Wow Capcom is beyond awesome!!!
Remember my long wishful post where i made a suggestion to capcom on how to make a Street Fighter anime series ? Well, capcom replied to the post and thread in Capcom unity by saying the following:
Sven: "I will pass your feedback and suggestions to licensing (who is responsible for such things). "
Thank you capcom for listening to your fans!
I suggest, dear blog readers, to let your voices heard in that same thread located here, and show capcom that a lot of fans want this anime series to happen and not only your old friendly neighborhood Strugler.

I know thats pushing it. And I bet they will only make SF:IV into a series, since its the new SF game out.
Though, if they do make SF: Alpha and so on. Make it look old school. Why not? The music the art. It will give it a new feel. Well, for SH: Alpha, II, EX, III, I mean. Don't know about SF: IV.
Its between SF:II and SF:III. So, does the time setting in SF:IV is around the 90's?
Ok, I might be pushing it. But here's hoping we might get something decent.

I'm all for a new SF anime (the one released in the exclusive version of SF4 is great) but I don't think that Capcom listened to you just because Sven will "pass" your question to the licensing department. Nothing has been decided yet...

ReplyDeleteWhy not a sequel to the Street Fighter 2 Animated movie in cgi? It left on a cliffhanger with Bison chasing down Ryu in the truck. An anime series would be great too, they need something like Street Fighter Victory.
