Tip of the Day!

Did you know that the famous evil ryu persona first appeared in the street fighter alpha manga by Masahiko Nakahira and not in the games?
Capcom liked the idea and canonized it in its games given us one of the most brutal and fun characters to play.

Its almost hard believe how one artist shaped that much of SF's flagship character.

Nakahira also did the amazing Ryu Final. I remember getting Ryu Final in Japanese maybe 7 years ago and the ideas there (also the rarity) just inspired me so much more to draw, write, and think SF. The ideas in Ryu Final were also used in SFIII 3rd Strike.

The artwork (poses, angles) and storyline (seemingly much more canon and fitting for the characters) are better in Ryu Final than his Street Fighter Zero mangas.
