The Xplay guys caught up with Ono san and asked him about when will Street Fighter IV get released for the home consoles.
His reply was: "There is no official North American arcade release, so we kind of feel bad that you guys have to wait for it. That's why we're trying to get it to you as soon as possible. Before the Japanese have a really long period of time to get really good at it first and totally kick your butt online…We don't want to start rumors that it's this year, but definitely this winter. At some point you'll be sitting in you winter coat looking at snow out the window…and right then we'll kind of heat you up a little with some hot street fighter action so look forward to that. "
So there you have it, when you feel your ass is getting frozen by the cold be happy, cause that is a sign that street fighter IV is coming soon to warm you up.

I would actually import the Japanese version if the release is too far apart. But 'this winter' sounds like early '09. I can wait that long.... I hope. This game shot a fire ball to my heart. :)
