A look at the north american SF4 Collector's edition as we as at the new boxart!!!

While we already know the content of the Collector's edition of SF4 for both the Ps3 and the 360 we did not have a peek at the actual package and what is inside it. But Fear not as Kramez from Capcom unity has revealed it all.

First things first, the boxart for the North American version of Street Fighter IV has been changed. We do not get the "ok" boxart showcasing chun-li anymore since now we have the same AWESOME looking boxart that Japan is getting. According to Kramez, since the Japanese box art has been revealed, a lot of fans (including me) have expressed their disappointment since the japanese box art looked much better and more polished that the US one and that after few meetings they have decided to once again listen to the fans and grant us our wish by giving us the same awesome ryu vs ken box art and i couldnt be happier :-)

Now as far as the content goes, we get a high rez picture of what is inside and that is (in Kramez words):
  1. The game (duh)
  2. A limited-edition (ie., not sold anywhere else) figurine – Ryu in the PS3 box, C. Viper hotness in the 360 flavor. Decisions, decisions...
  3. Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind: a 65 minute anime movie -- created by Studio 4C -- that sets up the story of SFIV by explaining events post-SFII. BluRay disc in the PS3 box! The Xbox version is a 360 game disc that outputs the movie at 720P, not a DVD.
  4. A mini-strategy guide from Prima, written by the same people doing the full-on guide and illustrated by Udon Comics
  5. CD soundtrack. Rock SFIV stage chunez in your car!
  6. …Plus some secret additional downloadable content that we’re not quite ready to reveal at this point. Look for more announcements soon!

what do you guys think ?

I wish they kept the Chun-li box art for the collector's edition

I too wish Capcom had kept the Chun-Li box art for the American edition. :-\

Soooo happy they changed the box art. I mean Chun-Li's cool but the old box art just wasn't very attractive at all.

Is sad that Chun-Li was taken off the boxset. :(

this has nothing to do with the post but does any have any idea when street fighter hd remix is coming out in the uk for ps3 users?

I got fed up with waiting for Super Street Fighter 2 Remix in the UK so i just set up an american account n then got it through there. U can still play online and everything so its pointless waiting for a uk release as the American version works fine for us over here in the UK.
